Paintor & Sculptor

Self-portrait at Home Studio, 2026

Constanza Eugenia is a Venezuelan multidisciplinary artist based in Brooklyn, New York, working primarily across painting and hand-built ceramics. Her practice explores memory, place, identity, and the interconnectedness of the natural world, often drawing from the experience of belonging to multiple landscapes. The vibrancy of the Caribbean and her native Venezuela remains deeply present in her visual language, existing alongside the environments and experiences she has encountered throughout her life in New York.

Alongside her artistic practice, she has built a career as an Art Director and visual designer, and previously founded Sapphic House, a Brooklyn-based cultural space dedicated to art, performance, and community. She holds a certificate in Photography from the New York Film Academy, a BFA in Communication Design from Pratt Institute, and a master’s degree in Arts Management from SUNY Purchase.

Color, texture, and repetition are central to Constanza’s work. Through pointillist techniques, layered surfaces, and hand-built forms, she creates tactile compositions that move between abstraction and representation, allowing landscapes, figures, and organic forms to emerge through accumulated marks and color. At its core, her work is concerned with connection: between people and place, the internal and external, and the individual elements that coexist to form something whole.
